Individual coaching and counseling is an effective tool for training and transferring knowledge about cultural intelligence. And often this can be done with very few sessions. Companies often choose to train employees on executive levels, and this is what I normally do. But I have experience working with people on all levels, and with many different nationalities.
For information on how I work specifically with Russians, have a look here.
Whether you are the person with a job or the accompanying spouse, you will as expatriated face some new challenges. The people you normally use to talk and exchange experience with like family, friends and colleagues, have no idea what it’s like to be expatriated, so they cannot help much.
Therefore a coaching session will always be fruitful to meet the challenges you face in the new environment, and to optimize where it’s possible. It’s no shame to make shortcuts by harvesting other people’s experiences. Futher information is found here
How does it work?
Coaching is not country-specific to me, and no matter where you are in the world, I will be happy to help.
The sessions is normally 60 minutes, and done either by Skype or in real life in Moscow or Copenhagen. My expirence is that 3 sessions can be very effective.
You will, depending of the situation, get tasks to work with between the sessions. And there will written material in either,English, Russian or Danish.
